Data privacy has never been more important, and in light of new regulation coming into effect across the EU, intandem has updated its Privacy Policy.
This new law is built around the principles of transparency and active consent, two values that intandem take seriously. So, to help you retain control of the data we hold on you, we want to signpost our new policies, which detail what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
As an independent organisation, we use personal data to enable communication and provide a quality service. Integral to this is your trust, so keeping your personal information safe and secure remains our priority.
To ensure we have your active consent to hold your personal details we have taken a number of actions:
Clients and supervisees: All current and future clients and supervisees will be asked to complete and sign a privacy notice and declaration of consent in addition to a written contract as negotiated
Course participants: Course participants from the past three years will be emailed for active consent to hold personal information (i.e. name, email address, phone number) for future course marketing purposes. All future course participants will be asked to complete and sign a privacy notice and declaration of consent
Blog subscribers: All existing data held on our blog followers has been deleted. We ask those of you who are keen to continue to follow the blog to re-subscribe to the post alerts. We will inform you when this facility is available again. We will take your re-subscription as active consent for your name and email address to be held on our database. In the meantime you can continue to access the blog via the following link: http://intandem.co.uk/intandemblog/
If you would like more information, please take a look at our updated Privacy Policy. This will come into effect from Friday 25 May 2018.
