intandem offers:
- Individual, couples and group counselling for people with a neurological condition and/or their families & friends
- Coaching, advocacy and support to assist you in navigating life including relationships, work and health, social care & education services
- A bi-monthly support group ‘Culture Club’ which is open to anyone with a neurological condition

Supporting Communication
- Increasing your understanding of how your communication is affecting your life choices and how you feel about yourself
- Increasing your communication choices, opportunities and self-confidence
- Supporting you to educate key people in your communication network
- Working with your family and/or friends as you see relevant
Navigating the future
- Supporting you to look at your current situation and the possible changes you want to make
- Helping you to break down your aspirations into manageable steps in order for you to move forward
- Exploring personal goals. These can be smaller goals (e.g. making phone calls, meeting new people), through to more ambitious goals (e.g. accessing an adult education course, public speaking, starting a new hobby/interest)
Building Relationships
- Supporting you in maintaining and developing previous meaningful relationships and in making new ones
- Working with you individually, in combination with one/more members of your family/friendship groups, both separately, in couples and groups
- Providing education, information and training to you and to those who are important to you
Exploring feelings and emotions
- Offering you a safe and confidential space to talk openly about your experiences and feelings with someone outside of your family and friendship groups
- Helping you to develop an understanding of your thoughts and feelings at this time and creating ways to manage them
- Developing your ability to control and harness your emotions to develop your personal resilience
