Description of supervision approach:

I have an initial discussion to discover your current situation and needs. We would then agree a contract specifying the blend of developmental, professional and supportive supervision you require. Practical arrangements for the sessions will also be agreed. We will review the contract at agreed intervals.

At the start of each session, we will agree what you would like the focus to be, for example case discussion, exploring emotional responses to incidents, problem solving, navigating professional relationships, sign posting to further information and support.

I aim to develop a trusting, empathic, professional supervisor/supervisee relationship through active listening. I will bring my training and experience into play to ask key questions which enable you to explore and reflect on the issue in a solution focused manner.
