Description of supervision approach:

I have experienced first-hand the increasing pressure on colleagues in Education, the NHS and other caring professions and the demands to meet student/client needs with decreasing resources.

The independent sector can be challenging also, especially if you are running your own business. Many colleagues feel isolated in their workplace.

I offer supervision individually or in groups to school staff or other professionals, as well as SLTs. Supervision provides a safe space for sharing, support and to explore issues experienced at work. It allows the individual to consider possibilities for different ways of thinking and discover options for making the changes they want to.

I believe that we are each on an individual professional journey and that supervision is a personal process that enables that person to reflect and move forward on that journey. It is different for each person and will look different across various stages of our careers and from one session to another. It is a privilege to share a part of that journey with colleagues. I provide a safe and confidential space for supervisees to reflect and problem-solve. Rather than providing direct advice, my role is to listen and to ask pertinent questions that allow the supervisee to explore and find answers.

Sessions are offered in person in New Malden ( KT3) or online if this is more convenient.

It is essential that you feel comfortable in supervision and find a person, who is the right fit for you, so do get in touch for an initial phone conversation to find out more.
