Description of supervision approach:
My supervision expertise has been built through some inspirational supervisors, training as well as learning through running my podcast on supervision (Speechies talk about… Supervision: the good, the bad and the ugly). We will jointly agree the style of supervision depending on your preferences and needs, which we can review regularly. I provide a confidential and supportive space where my supervisee feels able to openly reflect. I am a curious listener and offer questions to aid you to explore the possibilities to reach your potential. I can share my experience with suggestions for approaches for therapists who would like more direct guidance also. I have experience providing supervision both in-person and remotely; for individuals and group facilitation. I recommend we have an initial (free) discussion to discuss your needs and explore whether we are the right fit for a productive space for your supervision at this time.
